Care That Follows You, Week by Week

Every pregnancy is different. Some need reassurance and a scan; others need close monitoring, a specialist plan and a doctor who answers the phone. Dr. Diana provides both.

Pregnancy Planning

Preconception review, folic acid and vitamin D, rubella and thyroid checks, chronic disease optimisation and cycle tracking before you start trying.

Antenatal Care

A full schedule of visits with blood pressure, urine, growth and wellbeing checks — plus the time to ask everything you have written down.

High-Risk Pregnancy

Gestational diabetes, hypertension, previous caesarean, twins, thyroid disease, recurrent loss and advanced maternal age, managed with closer surveillance.

Ultrasound Scanning

Dating, viability, nuchal, anomaly follow-up, growth, Doppler and presentation scans performed in clinic by Dr. Diana herself.

Normal Delivery

Support for vaginal birth including VBAC where appropriate, with a birth plan agreed in advance and honest discussion of pain relief.

Caesarean Section

Planned and emergency caesarean with careful surgical technique, cosmetic closure and a clear recovery plan for the weeks after.

Postnatal Care

Wound and perineal healing, bleeding, pelvic floor recovery, mood screening, contraception and your six-week review.

Breastfeeding Support

Latch, supply, engorgement, mastitis and nipple pain — practical help rather than pressure, whatever feeding choice you make.

Timeline of Pregnancy

What Happens, and When

A guide to the standard pathway in Abu Dhabi. Your own schedule may include extra visits or scans depending on your history.

Weeks 11 – 13+6

First Trimester Screening

Nuchal translucency scan with combined or NIPT screening, and a discussion of what the results mean before you have them.

Weeks 16 – 18

Progress Review

Blood pressure, urine, growth check and a repeat haemoglobin. Many women feel their first movements around now.

Weeks 19 – 22

Detailed Anomaly Scan

A careful look at the heart, brain, spine, kidneys, limbs and placenta, plus cervical length where indicated.

Weeks 24 – 28

Weeks 28 – 34

Growth & Position

Fortnightly visits, growth scans, kick counting from 28 weeks and your birth preferences discussed in detail.

Weeks 35 – 37

Group B Strep & Final Plan

Swab, presentation check, and confirmation of your delivery hospital, admission process and what to pack.

Weeks 38 – 41
